Telehealth psychiatric care in Texas
LisaCare Psychiatry and Wellness provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management through telehealth for patients who will be physically located in Texas during their appointment. Care is provided by Prisca Oketch, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. LisaCare serves all ages across the lifespan and offers care in English and Swahili.
Confirm your Texas location and care needs
Before scheduling, tell LisaCare where you expect to be during the visit. Prisca is licensed in Texas, but your physical location and requested service still need to be confirmed. If you will be traveling or your location changes, contact the practice before the appointment rather than relying on your home address or insurance card.
LisaCare’s services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, ADHD testing and GeneSight testing. The practice also lists anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders and OCD among its specialties. Explore the specialties overview, then ask which service fits your needs.
Insurance and cash-pay options in Texas
LisaCare lists the following Texas insurance networks. A carrier name does not establish coverage, so confirm your exact plan, network product, telehealth benefits and service eligibility before scheduling.
- Oxford (Optum)
- Oscar (Optum)
- United Healthcare (Optum)
- Aetna
- Cigna
- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas
- Ascension (SmartHealth)
- Carelon Behavioral Health
Medicaid acceptance is limited to Oregon. Texas patients may ask about insurance or cash-pay care. Cash-pay fees are $200 for an initial visit and $150 for a follow-up visit. LisaCare also lists a $75 monthly Gold membership for follow-up appointments in medication management and brief psychotherapy; patients can cancel anytime. Review the full fees and insurance information and ask the practice what the Gold membership includes.
