This Website Privacy Policy explains how LisaCare Psychiatry and Wellness ("LisaCare," "we," or "us") handles information connected with this public website. It applies to the public website and general inquiries. It does not replace our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how we use and disclose protected health information in connection with patient care.
Information handled through this website
The public website may process:
- information you choose to provide when you email or call us, such as your name, contact details, and the contents of your message;
- page-view information, aggregate views of public appointment and contact options, and aggregate clicks on public scheduling, secure-messaging, phone, and email links used to understand general website use; and
- technical request information processed by website, network, security, or hosting systems, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested page, referrer, and date and time.
The site's current Plausible Analytics integration measures page views, aggregate views of public appointment and contact options, and aggregate clicks on public scheduling, secure-messaging, phone, and email links. Custom events use a fixed homepage URL and do not include the source page, link destination, referrer, URL parameters, fragments, or added event fields. A view or link click does not confirm a message, call, completed booking, or appointment. Before analytics data is sent, URL parameters and fragments are removed from page and referrer URLs, and added event fields are removed. Page paths and referrer paths may still be processed. Provider-side processing, logs, retention, and access are governed by the applicable systems and settings.
The public website does not contain a patient intake form. Please do not send private clinical details, medical records, or urgent requests through the public website or general email. Patient information should be shared only through a private channel approved by LisaCare for patient care.
How information may be used
Information connected with the public website may be used to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website;
- understand general website traffic and improve content;
- respond to general inquiries;
- connect prospective patients with the appropriate scheduling or clinical workflow; and
- comply with legal obligations or protect rights, safety, and security.
Booking and third-party services
When you select an online booking link, you leave this website and enter an OptiMantra workflow. Information entered there is handled under the notices, terms, and agreements that apply to that workflow. LisaCare may also use service providers for website delivery, security, analytics, communications, scheduling, and practice operations. Those providers may process information as needed to perform their services or comply with law.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are controlled by their operators.
