Before you arrange a visit
Confirm the state where you will be physically located, your care needs and service eligibility with LisaCare. Arrange the 15-minute eligibility consultation before booking an initial visit. Review fees and insurance information and ask the practice to explain your expected charges and any forms you need to complete.
Online scheduling opens LisaCare’s external OptiMantra page. Ask LisaCare how to join the actual telehealth visit, which device or software you will need, and what to do if the connection fails. Scheduling instructions and instructions for joining your visit may be different.
Set up your space and prepare your questions
Choose a quiet, private place where you can talk openly. Check your internet connection, camera, microphone and sound before the appointment, following the practice’s instructions. Read LisaCare’s telehealth consent information and privacy notice, and ask about secure ways to share records.
Write down your main concerns, questions and goals. Have a current medication list ready, including nonprescription medicines and supplements. The psychiatric evaluation page explains more about what to prepare and the next steps to discuss.
For a child’s appointment, ask who needs to attend and how a parent or guardian should participate. If you would like care in Swahili or need help accessing the visit, discuss this when arranging care. Meet your provider for more information about Prisca and the languages listed by the practice.
Leave with clear next steps
Ask what the proposed care plan means, how follow-up will be arranged, and whom to contact with questions between visits. If medication care is discussed, review the medication-management questions and ask how review, monitoring and refill requests will work for you.
