PTSD care through telehealth
LisaCare Psychiatry and Wellness lists post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among its specialties and offers psychiatric evaluations and medication management through telehealth. An evaluation can help clarify your concerns, history and goals and determine which next steps fit the practice’s scope.
Questions for an evaluation
- Which concerns are affecting daily life, and when did they begin?
- What previous care, medications or diagnoses should be reviewed?
- Would medication management fit my needs?
- Would care need to be coordinated with a therapist, primary-care clinician or another specialist?
- Which services are outside LisaCare’s scope?
Care is provided by Prisca Oketch, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. LisaCare serves all ages across the lifespan in English and Swahili. Review the specialties overview and meet Prisca.
Telehealth location and fees
Eligible patients must be physically located in Texas, Oregon or Washington during an appointment. Insurance networks differ by state. Medicaid is accepted in Oregon only. Washington appointments are currently cash-pay while insurance enrollment is pending.
Cash-pay fees are $200 for an initial visit and $150 for a follow-up. LisaCare lists a $75 monthly Gold membership for follow-up appointments in medication management and brief psychotherapy; patients can cancel anytime. Review fees and insurance and ask what the Gold membership includes.
How to start
Contact LisaCare to arrange the 15-minute eligibility consultation before booking an initial visit. It costs $15 and is credited toward the initial visit if you proceed. The consultation is separate from the $200 initial visit available through online scheduling.
